i also want to say this: in 2016 chris tyson (who i’m only using because his transition is extremely well documented) was literally transphobic, one time joking about there being so many genders and how “bro” is a gendered term, he was way more masculine, yet by 2023 he was trans and feminine, liked anime and video games
my point is that being transgender is something that is highly dynamic, there are tons of people who regret changing their gender, and we let them permanently alter their bodies and their puberty through hormones and even mutilate their bodies and then they later don’t like it. that’s why the suicide rate is 41%, because that 41% isn’t satisfied with their body and they regret it and kill themselves
