The earth is my haven

The sky.. not so.

I try to make my haven wherever i can see

The sky and I have a strained relationship when it is dry

Makes sense, rain is extremely nice

I'm getting serious deja vu rn

But yeah
The way the air tastes right before a rain and how it feels on the skin
And the mud from the rain is certainly an experience one can't forget
I prefer colder rains, the sensations it brings to the skin is otherworldly
But warm rains are nice too in their own way, filling the lungs with peace and the eyes with comfort none other will

I think it was yesterday
But our dry period was crazy for a few days

And all you can hear at the river is water, no people
Maybe the occasional dog bark on the other side
It's peaceful

I'm probably gonna sit near the tree and have my feet in it (love the feel of running water on my feet, it's very calming)

Except if i was there i would probably immediately be half way up the tree instead of under it

I'm too scared of falling to climb trees

Ive always climbed everything
To the point where im pretty confident doing it

I'm more of a ground person

Be it in the ground or on it

we've had overall dry weather for i think over a year now
some light rain but otherwise this is crazy
