thing i made from gods and goddesses au (aka my favorite au) (also read my comment if u want to [it's au lore :D])

this au i have been working a lot on recently (along with "what is there to live for" au [third favorite] and "the happiest video game on earth" au [second favorite])
so i have decided to yeet all my au lore at y'all (even tho y'all didn't ask for it [IM SORRY BUT AAAA-])

au character info:

alex: god of diamonds (bc why not + his mane be looking like a diamond)
marty: god of fun (i didn't know what to do with the outfit so i made it rainbow bc my dumb logic was that rainbow equals fun)
gloria: goddess of love (this one kinda makes sense bc she's been through a lot of stuff relationship-wise but idk)
melman: god of the sky (basically he controls the weather, clouds, the DAY TO NIGHT CYCLE- i made him sky god because of the second movie where he was called the rain in the parade and the rain metaphor thingy)

fun facts abt au:

- melman also has goofy lil cloak he got as a birthday present from his grandpa that he gives to gloria as a birthday present later in the au
- in the au, moto moto and gloria are kind of rivals
- the au was originally a marlex au where alex uses gloria's matchmaking temple machine thingy to pair him up with marty but he needed melman's help to unlock the thingy
- later on i made melria the center ship bc i love melria and the og marlex plot is now a romantic subplot bc why the heck not
- melman was originally god of health and medicines but i discovered that metaphor so haha I CHANGED IT
- melman makes little light shows in the sky for the kids of america
- alex probably sells the fresh diamonds that he creates for thousands of dollars
- melman doesn't know what love is because he never had the time to go out and find love (so when gloria kisses him in he au he just SITS THERE CONTEMPLATING WHAT JUST HAPPENED and it takes him A FULL MINUTE to figure it out)
- marty often collabs with julien (god of parties) to throw the most fun events ever
- i had an idea where gloria was the goddess of beauty but i already designed the outfits
- i might make gia the goddess of beauty, but idk for sure bc i haven't worked on the madagascar 3 circus zargosa characters much
