I almost in a way feel guilty for this - I encouraged his relationship (not knowing the age gap situation, but that's bad enough alone), and gave him some relatively life-shaping advice.
Whether he took this advice the wrong way or not is beyond both my knowledge and control
But this information will make me far more cautious in the future, as my naivete has potentially costed people's well-beings again.
