On July of 2000 Air France flight 4590 was supposed to take off from Paris to New York. However a Continental DC-10 that took off right before had debris fall off of it during takeoff specifically the piece in the image. Shortly after as the Air France was about to take off a wheel exploded by the fallen debris and caused the aircraft to crash having no survivors. RIP to the pilots, crew, and passengers of Air France 4590.
