I literally have only a few grams of blood sugar due to my metabolism rate. I've actually had an extensive checkup before

The expected values for normal fasting blood glucose concentration are between 70 mg/dL (3.9 mmol/L) and 100 mg/dL (5.6 mmol/L). When fasting blood glucose is between 100 to 125 mg/dL (5.6 to 6.9 mmol/L) (I think that’s the numbers you’re talking about) changes in lifestyle and monitoring glycemia are recommended (WHO data I googled).

Drs get more concerned with fluctuating blood sugar levels, but you need to check after sleeping overnight (without eating and only drinking water) for results to be valid. I think if your metabolism is very fast your blood sugar levels would come down quicker than most people.

Fructose (fruit sourced sugar) is healthier than sucrose (refined sugar) in other ways too- sugar is now linked to internal cancers, like gastrointestinal cancers, and heart disease. Also, dietary habits tend to be hard to shake later in life the same as any other lifestyle habits.

Do you ever crave salty foods and get the shakes which can be stopped after eating a packet of chips or other salty foods? We need some salt in our diets, and if we don’t get it naturally tend to crave salty foods. People get enough salt in a balanced diet and don’t need added salt though.
