basically his (chained up dude) world is ending but he got away temporarily and now has to face unimaginable horrors after opening the forbidden book.

what's happening here happens almost instantly after opening it, he's knocked unconcious and has to somehow escape while being chained up so he doesn't get stabbed to death.

Fun Fact: In the lyrical cutscene he grabs the clone of chained dude and does these things to it:

Removes his eyes and teeth.
Cuts his head off.
And he gets the whole thing on, so we can assume he cut the rest up in the span of about 5ish seconds.

Impressive for a dude with one normal hand and a pencil for the other.
