Why theres more kids that want brainrot more than mlg

I wish that I could time travel back to the good ol' days, when it was simpler, funner, and more colourful.
But now those traits are becoming a scarce thing to obtain.

But mlg's ARE brainrot

According to newportinstitute.com, the definition of brainrot is "Brain rot, sometimes written as one word, “brainrot,” is a state of mental fogginess and cognitive decline that results from excessive screen engagement"

Excessive screen engagement can be a lot of things like flashing lights, a f**kton of brain stimulus, and a f**k ton of content too much for the brain to comprehend, MLG edits have all of the above and maybe a few more stuff. Sure gen alpha bullshit are considered brainrot but you have to consider that some stuff from the gen z age and before can and are considered brainrot
Example :
MLG edits, minecraft parkour(especially ones that has fluid bodily motion), family guy, ishowspeed, satisfying videos, ASMR bullshit, etc
