On the first day we get there, someone went into cardiac arrest and set his camper (rv camping) on fire right across from us, so there was the whole park standing out holding their beers and s’mores watching as they put out his fire out and carried the poor man to the hospital on a stretcher
On the second day, things got even wilder when three people drowned in the lake FIVE MINUTES before we showed up. We got there and the lake didn’t have many people in it, maybe 10-20, and there were some news stations. We’re in the background of one of them- me, my younger sister, and my stepdad splashing around in the water as the news teller tells the story. And then at midnight someone illegally set off fireworks. People were cheering the guy on as he set off fireworks in the parking lot. He got maybe halfway through his stock when he got arrested. It was amazing.
