also the fact that showing up nude (well not exactly in this particular case) is seen as attention seeking behavior (and can sometimes actually be) is just one of several reasons nudity shouldn’t have been denormalized in the first place

with that said i like to think that there is an alternate universe where nudity is the norm (everyone was born nude after all) and wearing clothes is perceived as “quirky” and attention-seeking
