Note: Changed Sylc and Leroy due to copyright from Delicious in Dungeon; Sylcea is now Sylcea Ladon Fafnir and Leroy is now Leroy Apep Fafnir.
Ladon: Dragon who guarded the golden apples.
Apep: Great serpent-god of chaos.
Fafnir: Worm/dragon slain by some family (did the research after looking up mythological creatures)

Now looking into the mythology behind those names, I have made some cruel mistakes

Well, a lot of them I originally stole from the Final Fantasy series because those typically use mythological references. Unfortunately, I didn't know the mythological origins before choosing them. Azdaja is apparently a cannibalistic snake that grew wings and legs, Sargantanus is a "revealer of Hell", Ratatoskr is generally a messenger squirrel, etc.

Which are colt and yumi's characters?

I didn't steal ALL the names from franchises, y'know.

I know.

But also what was the naming theme with them?

For Yumi, it was just on mind for somebody in the Ashen Wolves. For Colt's, it was a play on Claude, the leader of the Golden Deer house, who's full name is Claude(actually Khalid) von Riegan, Riegan of which is pronounced ree-gun. The "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" is simply a placeholder for until I figure one out.

ree-gun kinda works.

Colt was literally named after a gun (company)

I mean it's set in the year 1100 so guns didn't really exist but y'know what, I might go along with it.

And if you wanted to know Yumi's namesake... It's actually a bit funny, when I first created her character it was for a pokemon story that I was telling from her perspective, so I wanted a name that sounded like 'you'

In lore Yumi actually named herself, her name is quite literally Yu (You) + mi (me), referring to herself from another person / narrator's perspective and herself from her own perspective.

How about Colt von Azegun? It's just a mixture of "Azeban", a raccoon trickster spirit in Abenaki mythology, and "gun". I originally looked up foolish characters in mythology but instead I got tricksters.
It includes the pronunciation "Ah-zey-gun" giving you Colt's original namesake without being too easy to spot, as well as making a little more sense to his character than the Adzaja's.

If not a last name, I plan to use Azeban instead as the name of a Hero's Relic (fancy weapons that give specific people specific powers) and try to find an actual mythological fool.

Ay that would work well.
