2000-2013 was the peak of memes. (I wasn't even around for most of it, but I think modern memes miss the remixability and charm of classic memes, which were simple and fun, some even actually funny. [Bad Luck Brian is easily my favorite meme cause it's not trying to make people mad or is just a random image along with a loud sound effect])

I will say this. Dancing toothless is super simple yet also really remixable, only good meme of 2024 in my opinion since it matches the simple charm of Nyan Cat.
