I don't even understand this but it made me sad

Basically

Lee (the main character) got bitten by a zombie, and spent his final hours rescuing Clementine, this 9 year old girl who he met at the beginning of the zombie apocalypse and cared after her

After rescuing her, he is minutes away from becoming a zombie, so in order to make sure he doesn't come back, he asks Clementine to shoot him in the head
