Training day rp

Clipz: *flies in* hi :)

Daniel's mech is standing there, spear in one hand, riot shield in the other. A large rifle strapped to it's arm. "STATE YOUR BUSINESS!" The large mech shouts at the troops. No response comes.

C: I... I.. need help.. *steps back*

Glitch's mech steps forward and says "I'm going out there and fighting. You do what is the least scary thing for you."
An AC/20 round from the atlas streaks and hits Daniel's mech squarely in the chest. "Alright. Not friendly. Got it." With that he charges forward

C: .. i got an idea.. I'll overload all of my weapons, then throw them at the ship.. I'm just throwing ideas at the wall here.

"Just making explosives? Doesn't seem awesome to me...."

C: hmm.. *he duplicates his mechs unstable power core, and sticks it directly into his adminspace/delete canon*

*The enemy forces advance, and the dropship flies off into the distance before it can do anything.*

C: is.. is it over? *Looks at glitch*

"They're still there. I have to move."
He runs off, running behind the mechs and periodically firing his lasers as missiles stream from another mech and cannons boom over the horizon.

C: *I cannon hits him, causing the happy face he drew on the mech to burn away* ..... What? *Looks at the enemy mech that fired at me* ...

"OH THATS IT" you hear glitch's mech shouts as he climbs onto the mech that shot you

C: glitch... C E A S E. *Starts spidering towards the mech*

*He punches the cockpit and kills the pilot inside.*
"NO ONE HURTS MY NEW FRIEND."

C: *quick hug* thanks :)

"RAHHHHHH" He goes buckwild with fighting and soon, with heavy damage, it's victorious.

C: *thumbs up glitch while melting the cockpit of an enemy mech*

The enemy is gone, because everyone has either surrendered or been defeated.

C and G meet up with the rest of the crew

Glitch puts his arms up in triumph. "WE DID IT! YEAH!"

C: *disables gravity from excitement* YYEEEAAH!! *turns gravity back on*

Clipz: okie done!

*The mech looks like this, but smaller*

Daniel looks in amazement at the mech.
"This almost looks like an annihilator but different."
He waves his hands around to signal the ground crews. "They'll service it in a new hangar if that's alright with you."

Clipz: oh yeah, thank you!

Daniel nods to the crews, which start forming around the new mech. "Well, if the mechanics get the scaffolding up in time, you can get into your mech with enough time for me to start training you."

Clipz: oh, speaking of training, when do we start?

"An hour. If you want, we can start earlier."

Clipz: can we start now? *Puppy dog eyes,*

"You can't get into your mech though. We need scaffolding-"
Sighs.
"Alright then. I'll see what I can do."

Clipz: *hug* thanks man..

*He runs into the large buildings, making a bit of small talk with the mechanics before going inside*

Clipz: *follows him*

He climbs scaffolding inside the mechbay and pulls himself into his cockpit

Clipz: woah!

"Yeah! I just have to put on this little old suit and...."
The mech raises its fist in the air.
"Linked! Great!"
The cockpit closes behind him as mechanics and engineers prep for a deployment.

Clipz: do I go in mine?

"Here." The mech puts an open hand down for Clipz to climb on

*clipz rapidly crawls up the mech like a friggin spider*

"Alrighty!"
The hangar doors open with a intercom going "hangar doors opening. Stand clear."
Gaz shouts from his mech cockpit "OY! I didn't know we were going right now!"

*lands on top of the mech*

"Instant karma. If you want, I'll give the mechanics the order to allow you on immediately. Gaz'll have to put training away for a while."

Clipz: hmmm, he seems nice.. I don't wanna inconvenience him.. *reached out his hand, then starts to duplicate the infiltrator*

"What are you doing?"

Clipz: he seems to like his mech, so I'm duplicating it so he can keep training.

"..duplicating? As in...making a copy? Holy crap..."
He thinks to himself.
"The gods have sent me a literal destroyer of worlds. He eats planets and duplicates impossibly complex mechs."

*the mech finishes duplicating*

Clipz: it done :)

Daniel looks in shocked awe as he witnesses a perfect copy of the infiltrator.
"You're literally the most incredible being I've seen yet. Not going to lie."

Clipz: Aww, thanks. :). Soo, can I edit it pls?

"Sure. It's yours technically."

Clipz: *happy clipz noises*

*Bro starts going crazy on the modifications*

*him who hasn't been hugged for literally 600 years* "... you're welcome. I should thank you."

Clipz: hm? For what?

"I haven't...been hugged for a...long time. It reminds me of when my family was still alive."

Clipz: *pulls away* oh... I'm so sorry about that..

"no, no. It's fine. Thanks. It was nice to feel that again."

Clipz: oh, ok.

"So...uh....you wanted to start training?"

Clipz: *rapid nodding*

"Well then, I'll get my mech started!"

Clipz: *happy clipz noises*

The hologram falls, crashing into the ground.
"So! Decided to hop in at the last minute! Nice shot there, Clipz!"

C: *flips off the hologram, and it's protector* thanks! *This mf then proceeds to physically GRAB the hologram, and rip it apart*

Seth starts cheering loudly.
The rest join in. Soon, some infantry units start clapping in the distance.

C: *after everyone kills the holograms, he does a lil dance*

"That was some hardcore destruction!" Glitch says as he jumps up and down

C: *picks up the mech and hug* YEEEAH, it was fun!

"I LOVE THIS NEW GUY! HE'S LEGIT AWESOME!"
Daniel chuckles. "Good. He's gonna be here for a while."

C: *puts glitch on his shoulders*

"Heh! Guys look, I'm tall now!" He puts his arms to his sides triumphantly.
"And with my height, I can see a...." He goes stiff.
"D...d..d.ddropship. big one. Not ours."

C: *looks up. And and holds Seth* what?

"Through here is your mech."
He holds out his hand to the cockpit of your mech
"There we go!"

Clipz: *teleports inside, them powers up the mech*

"Reactor online. Weapons online. Sensors online. All systems nominal." The cockpit says as buttons and view screens light up.

Clipz: "okie, everything is ready!" *The mech comes out of the hanger*

Daniel through com: "Seems you know how to pilot the mech pretty well already."

Clipz: "yeah, I good with robots and stuff like this!"

"well then. Ive marked a nav point on your HUD. Your map should reflect this. Meet me there."

Clipz: ok! *the mech starts to run towards it*

Daniel's mech runs up beside clipz's

Clipz: *arrives at the spot*

"Alright. Time to learn how to use your weapon systems. The joystick on your right is how you usually fire weapons, but I haven't seen the layout of your cockpit yet. Try firing them at this target:"
A drone which is quickly identified by your mech launches from 300 meters away

Clipz: *raises the mechs arm and it fires an adminspace/delete at the target*

"Holy frick-"
The drone explodes in a firey inferno
"Y'know what? Try this one."
Another drone the size of clipz's (Hand?! Paw?!) appears 1000 meters away.

Clipz: *fires again*

"....How?"
The drone explodes even larger than the last one.

Clipz: cuz I use lasers :3

"I use lasers too but...."

Clipz: but what?..

Another drone deploys and he fires a beam of blue light at it. It misses.
"You have to have some serious skill to hit that."

Clipz: I'll admit something.. I have aimbot in my brain..

"Oh....dangit." his mech sags a bit sadly when another mech pats him on the back. "It'll be alright, Gaz."

C: *give gaz a headpat* sooo, u guys usaly train together?

"Yeah." A female voice says from the cockpit of a mech surrounded by LRM launchers.
"Hi, I'm Yzana. Codename death." She speaks with a thick Russian accent.
A small mech only up to your stomach area playfully punches your mech. "Hi! I'm Seth. Codename glitch."
That one seems a bit younger.

C: *looks down* hello!

"so....now that you know the team, it's time to get to work. Everyone up for a team holo battle?"
You hear everyone groan over the com.
"I'll take that as a yes!"

C: what's a team holo? *Walks with the other mechs*

Glitch speaks up. "It's a battle against an enemy lance projected by holomapping on-screen. No real weapons fire, no actual combat....no explosions. I signed up for explosions, not blowing up holograms."

C: oh, holograms? I think I can handle those. *We get to the training field*

"Alright. Weapons offline. Holos on." Says Daniel from the intercom.
As holograms appear on the battlefield, the landscape changes. 4 Battlemechs on the horizon loom over a holly landscape.
"This time it's a challenge. 4 battle masters against us. Time to see if training's paid off so far. Clipz, you can stay behind or join us in the fight. You won't be judged for any choice."

C: *he stayed behind, studying them. Towards the end, he fires a solid EMP at one of the holograms*

Daniel is already off and running, jumping on top of a building. "FULL ALERT! PIRATES DEPLOYING AT ZETA 15 BY DELTA 5. SEE AN ATLAS, THUNDERBOLT, BATTLE MASTER AND COMMANDO. OTHER UNITS INCLUDE TWO PLATOONS AND THREE MOTAR TANKS. WEAPONS FREE ON MY COMMAND."

C: *crying in the corner*

Glitch looks at you and says "what's wrong, buddy?"
Gaz's mech is stomping off, ready for action.

C: WERE GONNA DIE :( *more childish crying*

"You're in a death machine built to blow cretins to heck. You're not gonna die. I won't let you."

C: thanks.. :) *gets up* what do we do?..

"Fight. We fight and win."

Imma have to get ready for bed now so I might not respond for some time.

Ok bud, gn

Daniel's mech hops down, his arm turning into a riot shield. "You don't have to fight now. It's...it has its risks."

C: I.. I can try.. *he goes outside and looks at the dropship in the sky*

"That probably explains it."

C: yeh

"So....keep going."

Clipz: fires a different weopon. Makes a small black hole that implodes the target

"You've improved my weapons. This is...insane."

Clipz: oh no, these are my weopons I glued onto here

"Still, the mech you sit in is quite literally a death machine."

Clipz; that's what it's made to be

"....I'm gonna go get the team. Introduce you to them."
His mech runs off, being greeted by Gaz's mech and others in the lance you don't know. Charger buzzes the intercom.

C: *looks at the people* hi.. *the mech waves it's arm*

"Ey! It's my new friend! You got yourself one heck of a mech!" Gaz's mech waves back

C: thanks! ;)

Other mechs join you guys.

C: *social anxiety kicks in*

Daniel's mech gestures to the other 3 mechs as he walks up to yours. "This is galan lance. You're welcome to train with us for now."

C: *mech hugs the other mechs*

Gaz: "...And how is that one capable of doing that? I want that kind of mobility on my mech!"

C: I just made it's arms flexible

"Aw c'mon. How is it so easy?"

C: well, it's more like...* Yaps about solving reality and exploiting physics to bend spacetime to his will* ... So it's not easy

Daniel: "Good on you for being here. It's nice to see you accepted my invitation."

Clipz: nice to see you too, convenient that I have no schedule.

Around the training yard 3 heavy mortar tanks are firing at targets placed by infantry units which are also practicing their aim and fitness at several stations. 3 aerospace fighters scream through the air, seeming to be in a high-g dogfight with some fake enemy. "Take your pick. The 'mechs won't be active for an hour or so, and I was just about to go get the MOD-51 ready for a field test."

Clipz: *looks at one of the mechs* I like this one! Although..hmm, hey, can I slightly adjust this one?

Daniel: "which one do you want? Im having the mechanics put together a new design so give me anything you want and I could feasibly make it for you."

(the middle left one)

Clipz: *points at the one I said* that one :3

"So you want the infiltrator?"
He thinks about it for a second and mumbles under his breath while gazing at it.
"Graz isn't going to like this...."
Then suddenly a hairy man in a mechwarrior suit walks up to them, helmet under his armpit, with a big mustache and sideburns that look like the COULD burn. "Oy! You didn't tell me another eccentric person was joining our lance!"

Clipz: hey, don't call me that >:(

Gaz puts a hand on your shoulder and looks at you. "Ey I was just joking, mate. If you're a weirdo, join the club!" He chortles loudly and wipes a tear from his eye. He then starts walking off towards the infiltrator mech, laughing loudly. "You'll have to excuse Gaz....he saw you, and since we don't normally see REAL aliens he probably assumed you were just faking it or something."

Clipz: oh.. makes sense I guess..
*Looks at the infiltrator*

Glitch's mech walks up right beside yours. "Hey. It'll be alright man. I'm here for ya."

C: ok.. *he fearfully shoots both the black hole, and the solid EMP at the dropship*

A chunk of armor falls off, but it's otherwise unscathed. Troops rush past you as areospace fighters whizz by overhead

C: uhhh, uhhh, *fires a black hole on his hand and starts mixing the black hole with his other weapons*

The dropship lands, obscured by a few buildings.
"It was a good try. You did well!"

C: *the black hole starts to react to the things I put in it* oh OH OH NO NO NO!! *throws it at the dropship*

A wave of lasers blows up the black hole somehow.
"I don't think that'll help right now, buddy."
He runs towards where the stomping of mechs can be heard

C: *follows him* what do we do?!

"Just follow the commander. When the enemy can be seen, attack."

C: ok, ok.. ok.*finds the Commander while shooting down drones*
