The Takara Tomy ones have more metal, and gimmicks, while Hasbro ones have no metal and no gimmicks.

the burst beyblades burst apart when hit hard enough. when used against older ones that dont have that gimmick, they lose every time

It's a gimmick that if you launch hard enough, these things will come out and block it from bursting. It can still burst but it's very hard to. Cho z acchlies and Cho z Valkyrie have this gimmick, for example.

so it can still burst though, massive disadvantage to any non bursting one
