When I was 4, I couldn't comprehend what was ever going on in movies. It was only up until I was 9 when I could comprehend plot and hear the words they were saying

it's actually an attention span thing, people with low attention span zone out during movies and they just start day dreaming

I could understand movie plots at 5. At 2 i couldn't understand what was going on.
