Both my parents were actually born in the USSR, and so were the rest of my ancestors born after 1924. Some were imprisoned for being Christian, while many others were drafted into the army. Fortunately, none of them partook in actual fighting, saving their lives.

Maybe you should spend several months studying Russian history. The Tsardom of Russia and the Russian Empire are different things. Also, monarchist Russia killed much less than a million people, while the USSR killed tens of millions
