The thing about the new Super Monkey Ball games is that they don’t control nearly as well as the originals did. Acceleration was off, you lost momentum trying to turn, and your monkey fell a lot slower. Banana Remake is a fine game, but the originals controlled much better and it’s not close.
I’m tired of people saying “you just hate the game because it’s different.”
Ask any fan of Super Monkey Ball 2. All they want is different. We want new stages, new modes, new minigames, new art styles, and new UI’s. But for the love of god don’t change the physics or controls. That’s all we’ve ever wanted since 2005.
There’s a reason people mod SMB2, it’s because it just controls better and people want to play more stages with those controls.
