military tactics are simple

if you’re stronger than them, attack
if they’re stronger than you, retreat
if you don’t like them, nuke

Actually, if you're stronger than them, you can easily obliterate them.

However, even if you're stronger than them, you can still make your best attempts to ambush the enemy to try and knock their numbers down. Sure, you might die, but if you managed to survive, that's the art of war.

I know my fair share of historical war stuff and military tactics, but haven't really demonstrated any of it in stories or stuff.
