The other day I was on a job, I was hired to install railings on two porches.
A female inspector came by and noticed something wrong (that was an easy fix) not part of my job. But my crew were the only ones there at the time.
Her: Are you the owner? Me: No.
Her: Are you the contractor? Me: No.
She starts ranting about the problem. I tell her, I was hired to do this small job.
I gave her the superintendt's phone number. He doesn't answer immediately, so she comes over and starts harassing me.
I told her her attitude stank, and if she assumed the attitude that she was a public servant, she would get better compliance.
At which point, she throws up her hands and says she is shutting down the job.
