A lot of scrap paper and a lot of free time /hj
Okay but I suppose it's from me constantly drawing, I watched a lot of tutorials (I really like the YouTube channels Winged Canvas and ABD Illustrates) and also watched a lot of cartoons and viewed a lot of artwork to try and find out /why/ I like it. Some days, I'd go deep into creating my style, which consisted of drawing the same character with different proportions (such as giving them bigger hands or a different amount of fingers) and creating a collage of styles I wanted to replicate, Frankensteining them together essentially. Oh, and time! It's been over five years since I started really getting into art besides childish comics and scribbles, but there's always time to start.
