There's all these memes about piano music giving Pokemon players PTSD, those memes originating from the music that played in Lavender Town (I think), thus the piano.

Butterflies are allegedly a reason a Kirby player would have "PTSD" due to butterflies being a classic villain appearance throughout the series.

In Animal Crossing, apparently Mr. Ressetti, a character who was in fact a mole, has been such an aggressive character that young children cried due to some of his punishments being that you need to write down some self insult a certain number of times in order to play again.

Breath of the Wild players, who also would get anxiety from piano music, remember the terrifying first encounters with guardians, which could immediately kill Link early in the game, unless of course they were a master at reflecting the beams. Their beams were indicated by red dots.

I mean, that's more with Champion Cynthia from Sinnoh than Lavender Town. I think you might have been confused from the Lavender Town ($ui¢id3) controversy that spawned when the Kanto games first released in Japan. (Notes: I censored the word in parentheses for obvious reasons. Replace the dollar sign with an s, the cent sign with a c, and the 3 with an e for the actual word. And yes... This did actually happen to Japanese kids with the original Red and Green games.)
