This is not sarcasm - Many of us in the United States grew up around firearms. Hunting and fishing is common and enjoyed by family and friends. It's extremely important to teach gun safety at a young age. I went to a high school that had a gun range and competitive shooting events.

Hi :) Many Americans enjoy hunting and shooting as a sport. It's important to teach children gun safety and respect for firearms. They need to know - absolutely - without a doubt that it is NOT a toy and should not be treated as such.
