I wake up, rather suddenly. I don't know why. My mouth has a very dry and sticky feeling to it, my tounge feeling rough. I look over to the wall, staring at a decoration meant for Halloween. My breath catches in my throat, I don't remember who I am or what I'm doing. A glimmer of panic settles into my eyes as I think "what's today?" Then after a few moments, I regain semi-calmness. I internally question "what was that?" My eyes water, for who knows what reason. My chest feels tight. And I still don't know. ???
