allow me to tell you

within the last few days my mom and i went to seperate some wood structures with a crowbar, because she needed the indiviual wood planks for her own stuff

the nails holding them together were both spiky AND rustier than my brain

and i did all that with SHORTS and a SHORT-SLEEVED t-shirt leaving half my skin exposed (we did have gloves though)

so basically, i would have either gotten tetanus and died, or managed to survive... well i did survive but still, it's just ONE MORE REASON why i always prefer to wear long pants and long sleeved shirts (yes even in 40C summers)... sure it's not much, but it's better than letting my own friggin' skin get destroyed (and that's already pretty wrecked anyways)

my friend did those (the crusader was in ballpoint pen (me), cat thingies were from my friend (she let me borrow her paper + not my art style anyway))
