*Shonte glanced over at him, still serving some other tables. She sent a quick smile his way as she finished up, heading toward them*

"Everything good over here? Can I do anything for y'all while I'm over here-?"

(Is there anything bothering you or your oc? Also hi =))

*Tom looked up and pulled out his earbuds* Tom: Im fine... Daph?
Daph: Er-

(shes being stalked by someone every day after work also hiiiii)

*she smiled at them, carrying some plates* "Let me know if you need anything okay-?"

*Tom was watching Daph worriedly*
Daph: Uh- Right.

*she smiled, walking away and going into the kitchen*

*you noticed Daph looking at you worriedly, and whispering to Tom*

*she eyed them suspiciously, walking around taking care of customers. a new person walks in, wearing shades and a hoodie, sitting down at a booth in the far corner.*

*Now the duos attention was directed at the individual*

*the guy got up, ordered a drink at the counter, seeming to be particularly close with one of Shonte's coworkers. you notice a small packet of something hidden between the cash he was paying with*

*Daph, being a (unoffical) P.A he stood, but Tom grabbed his shoulder and forced him down*

*the individual left, and the coworker pocketed something, going into the back*

*he tried to follow*

*he was allowed to follow, there was a chair next to her hospital bed for her to sit in*

*he sank into the chair, upset*

*she was asleep, her hand hanging off the side of the bed*

*he took one glance, took her hand and cried silently*

*she looked over at him, half asleep. she squeezed his hand gently, as if to comfort him*

*he looked up suprised, and sniffed*

"You ok..?" *she squeezed his hand softly, looking at him*

Daph: U-Uh- yeah.

*she reached over, gently wiping his tears and planting a gentle kiss on the top of his head* "Alright..." *she laid down weakly, starting to fall back asleep*

*he glanced at her, then glared at the guy*

*her words were a bit slurred* "What happened... i wanna go home.."

Daph: I'll take you home soon-

"Thank you..."

*a few customers went up to the counter, requesting assistance. her coworker huffed and went to go tend to the customers*

Daph: Quick- lets go-

*she nodded, hauling herself to her feet and leading him out the back exit*

*he put her arm around his shoulders*

*she led him to her car, unlocking it*

"Can you drive..? I dont feel good.."

*he nodded and helped her in*

*she buckled up and kinda slumped over into a light sleep*

*he sped to the hospital*

*when they got there, she was still asleep*

*He quickly carried her inside*

*she was surprisingly light to carry. A nurse approached them, asking what's wrong with her*

Daph: s- some guy drugged her- someone is also stalking her-

"Do you know who did it?"

*The nurse moved her onto a gurney and got her started on an iv, testing her blood to see what she was drugged with*

Daph: His name was [Idk] he works at [random cafe]

"I'll file a report to the police. For now, lets take care of her.."

*nods*

*the nurse leads them to a hospital room, taking care of her*

*he pulled her closer. Glaring at the coworker*

*the guy glared at him back* "What are you doing back here? This is for employees only."

Daph: you could have killed her.
*Tom is sitting out there like: O.O*

*he started to sweat slightly*

"What do you mean?"

Daph: you know what I mean.

*the guy grew angrier, sweating*

"This area is for employees only. Leave now. I will take care of her."

*he just glared*

"I said leave." *the guy looked infuriated*

Daph: your gonna have to make me.

"...Fine. but once she's awake, you leave."

*he sat beside her for what felt like forever*

*After a few hours, the drugs were starting to flush out of her system a bit*

*he just sat there*

*she begins to wake up after abt an hr, she looked dazed, confused, and ill*

Daph: Hey- Relax- its-

"...Daph...? What's going on..?"

*she looked unnaturally tired and dazed, and unwell*

Daph: Some ass drugged you.

"What...?" *she was struggling to keep her eyes open*

Daph: just relax-

"ugghhh..." *she closed her eyes, unable to keep them open*

Daph: just relax. Its fine.

*she closed her eyes, falling asleep. Her coworker entered the room, he looked as if he had suspicious intentions. its the same guy who was ringing up the mysterious customer*

*the two stood up to leave*

*You hear a thud in the back of the kitchen/employee area of the cafe*

*Daph ditched Tom and ran back*

*you find Shonte on the floor, knocked out. there was a waterbottle next to her. there were no signs of injury, head trauma, or physical touch.*

*He ran over and checked her pulse, looking around*

*her pulse was steady and slow. she had passed out next to the lockers, her waterbottle next to her hand.*

*he slowly picked up the water bottle*

*it looked like it had been tampered with, theres a strange white powder on the edge of the bottle lid*

*he immediately knew what happened*

*she stayed unconscious for awhile*

Daph: No. *stubborn boi*

"Why are you so stubborn?!"

Daph: because she's my friend.

*he nods* "You can stay until she regains consciousness."

Daph: *he stood, but in front of her* No, you sicko. Im not leaving her with you.

"What is it you have against me?!"

Daph: You drugged her. I saw it.

"How do you know?"

Daph: Cuz im not stupid.

*Shonte began to wake up, seeming dazed and confused*
