Story 2 related to Fitna:
Mr WellMann's(not Flynn or henry) life took a tragic turn when he discovered The Donkey King, a Pakistani animated film. Though the movie was generally lighthearted, one character caught his attention: Fitna, the cunning and charismatic fox who played the villain. Her intelligence, charm, and complex nature fascinated him in a way he couldn't fully understand. Over time, his admiration for Fitna grew into an intense, consuming affection.
At first, WellMann's obsession was a private affair. He would rewatch the movie, focusing on Fitna's scenes, and he began to draw her, imagining conversations and scenarios where she was a guiding figure in his life. Fitna became a source of comfort, especially during difficult times. She reminded him of his late mother in ways that he couldn't articulate, and slowly, he began to think of Fitna as his mother, his protector.
But as WellMann's fixation deepened, his real-life relationships suffered. His wife, initially supportive of his interest in animation, grew increasingly concerned and then exasperated. She couldn't understand his emotional dependence on a cartoon character, and her attempts to reason with him only pushed them further apart. The breaking point came when WellMann began referring to Fitna as if she were real, a constant presence in their conversations. His wife, feeling neglected and alarmed by his behavior, left him, taking their children with her.
At work, WellMann's colleagues noticed changes too. Once a diligent and creative employee, he became distracted, often lost in thought or scribbling drawings of Fitna instead of focusing on his tasks. His obsession seeped into his professional life, affecting his performance. The final straw came when he tried to integrate Fitna into a major project, unable to separate his personal fascination from his work. His superiors, concerned for both his well-being and the project's integrity, had no choice but to let him go.
having to get another job, alone, and hated harshly by his family, WellMann's world collapsed. Friends distanced themselves, unable to comprehend his attachment to a fictional character. They mocked him behind his back, some even to his face, amplifying his sense of isolation. Online, the ridicule was relentless. Trolls created hate art depicting Fitna raped, tortured and also murdered violently, knowing it would torment him. Each piece of cruel art, each mocking comment, chipped away at his spirit.
