I think since YouTube was popular, new grounds lost popularity .in 2021 ,following the release of fnf ,many fnf fanboys and girls joined new grounds to post porn of fnf

YouTube got popular and since most people watched YouTube , new grounds started to lose popularity, besides they focused on games,fanart,movies,videos and animation.they can't juggle that at the same time.as you know their are a lot of degenerates in fnf fandom.when fnf got popular ,the degenerates flooded in new grounds to post nsfw art also on deviant art .
