Shinomura; Supercolonial parasite; Division and recombination, Regeneration, Growth, Flight; 1950; 1954; Not much is known about this parasitic monster, but it was awakened after the attack of Dagon. It began a reign of terror across the Pacific Ocean over the next decade, though it was being followed by Dagon, who happens to sense the presence of Shinomura. He was thinking of killing the monster, due to it being in his territory. In 1954, America and Japan finally decided to work together to stop the 2 monsters by luring them to Bikini Atoll, where they'll detonate the hydrogen bomb to kill them both. Though Dagon survived it, Shinomura on the other hand, was vaporized by the blast. Later in 1989, after the Oxygen Destroyer was tested, some of the remains of Shinomura that were somehow survived, were mutated by the effect of the super weapon, reviving its cells back to life. The mutated monster was growing and evolving for the next 5 years into the most dangerous monster that humanity has ever created, Destoroyah.
