Ur not. I f**king hated that book. I had to read it in 5th grade, so when they made me do it again in 7th, I read Fahrenheit 451 instead

I f**king love the giver sm, and just dystopian stories in general. But personally I like Danger Days TTLOTFK better tbh.

Truth, we were forced to read the giver for English and it sucked, I’d rather read comics and actually good dystopian books unlike the giver where half the book is a black and white society with no gay people or even queer coded characters
