The reason I was off for 2 days is because our router got struck by lightning and DTC (internet provider) couldn't come out monday to restore it.

That same strike also cut off our hot water heater (not yipee😔) so we don't have hot water right now (cold showers go brrrrrr, literally.)

Nah yeah mate that sounds absoloutley terrifying. I once had lightning strike a tree right in front on me. I had to get off ny bike so it wouldnt hit me. My bike was mostly okay, apart from the tyres.
