no its not luffy doesnt actuallty have a devil fruit. this may sound weird but that devil fruit isn't supposed to exist. in the one piece univsere the devil fruits are very strange and nobody knows anything about them. luffy ate what was the embodiment of Joyboy a literal god. imagine somebody like luffy but with permanent gear 5. he IS Joyboy now.
