the pvp was better the game was simple and mojang cared. less is more sometimes

i get the PVP aspect but what your saying is it was a time Mojang cared yes they carred in the past but why is it not better to play the latest were they still cared but just cared a bit more by adding updates

microsoft can veto updates and ideas thus limiting them

yes but even so we still get updates weather they are vetoed or not and technically 1.8.9 is limited by what it can do in terms of servers features ETC

hey i dont know im not a hypixel expert but you actually don't hypixel kept its servers on 1.8.9 and honestly its not that good PVP has almost no merit other then fishing rods and stuff its just who can click the fastest
