That's way back, and also 60% of the world's people lived elsewhere. The Russians came from Slavic and Siberian tribes, and a little from the Varangians. They were way up north, so it's unlikely they were in the Middle East at that time. My fatherland is Russia, my ancestors have lived there since who knows when. My family only came to the USA after the fall of the USSR, when they were in Ukraine, so I was born in the USA.
