Imgflip is a 13+ website due to the constant politics and dark humor, and also because some people decide to post 13+ subjected things.

Also to add, the underage user template was created due to the problem with people breaking imgflip’s terms.

why are the ages of people breaking imgflip’s terms

It’s a good question really, but the ones I have interviewed for it have just not explained the reason. So it’s unknown.
