Because of their funky letters?

The Cyrillic alphabet is actually much easier than the Latin one. Most of the lowercase letters are basically copies of the capital letters. However, some Slavic languages actually use the Latin alphabet, like Polish, Czech, and Croatian. Also, Slavic languages sound the best in my opinion. (I speak Russian btw, so that explains some of it. I'm also learning Serbian and Belarusian).

That may be because Russian was your first language.
And since English is MY first language, I find it easier than Russian.
