Chapter 7: the dawn (Very underwhelming)

Ares: …Remember, only 3 days remain until the war, so prepare yourself and meet us at Olympus.
The Tv turned back to static as a certain woman watched the broadcast.
???: huh… I wonder why he hasn’t woken up-
A loud explosion can be heard from the attic as the woman ran up
???: Oh finally. You’re a couple years late.
A man who looks exactly like Matt gets up from the coffin
Apsogos: I know I know…
He puts on his black beanie and grabs his signature weapon, the Order- oh wait…
Apsogos: …God?
Amber: My name is Amber
Apsogos: yeah yeah whatever, where’s my weapons?
Amber: Oh yeah, some people broke in and took all of them.
Apsogos is absolutely devastated
Apsogos: And you LET THEM?!
Amber: I was outnumbered. I tried my best but they got away.
He shakes his head as he punches a wall, almost breaking it down
Apsogos: I knew gods were f**king useless…
Amber: Wait.
She grabs something out of a box.
Amber: tada!
It’s just a normal gun.
Apsogos: …you let them take everything with god like powers, but you kept a normal gun?
Amber: yep!
Apsogos: …I’ll take it.
Amber tosses him the gun as Apsogos gets ready to leave for Olympus. Amber follows behind as she wants to meet up with an old friend…

3 days later
Eren walks up to the gate of Olympus, ready to battle.
Eren: Did you call Rose?
Violet; Um… yeah. She should be coming.
Eren: Excellent. Let's see… Spark?
Spark: Here.
Eren: Saike? X?
Saike and X: Here.
Eren: Alright… Ruby?
Ruby: I’m here.
Eren: Dad?
Silence.
Eren: Dad?
Spark: Fox went in ahead of time. I’m not sure why.
Eren: Dammit… lets just head in
Everyone nods as they run into the gates. As for where Fox was? He was heading straight towards Ares. as he walked casually across the floor he realized something. People.
Fox: huh… an entire city in olympus. I wonder why he would do that…
That's when…
Broken Saike: Got you.
With one swift motion, Broken Saike stabs Fox in the chest.
Broken Saike: Geez, and Ares hyped you up so much. And I got a clean blow!
Fox: …congrats… you did it.
He flashes a demented smirk
Fox: That's the only hit you’re gonna get.

He then pushes the sword back out, causing Broken Saike to stumble back. And then he hits him with a clean roundhouse kick.
Broken Saike: What the hell?
Fox: Here’s something new for you kid.
He takes his revolver out of his hand and he shoots himself right in the head. However he still stands there smiling.
Fox: You can’t hurt me unless you hurt my soul!
Broken Saike: I see.. And why are you telling me this?
Fox: Cause I know you won’t be able to exploit it.
Broken Saike: yeah yeah… Maybe I can’t. But she can.
Fox: She-?
His thoughts were interrupted by a blade nearly cutting him. Aphrodite stands there holding an extremely familiar dagger.
Fox: …order… You raided my friend's dead body?
Aphrodite: It wasn't that hard, Sweetie. All I had to do was put on a blue wig and then boom! That bitch never could tell the difference~
Fox starts to sweat a bit. He’s been pushed to a corner. He grabs one of his souls to summon a phoenix to fly him away.
Aphrodite: oh no you don’t~
Aphrodite tries to throw the dagger at Fox but… she misses.
Broken Saike: …oh right. You’re horrible at combat.
Aphrodite: Quiet, fleshlight.
Aphrodite gets ready to grab the order again but it seems to have vanished. As she tries to piece together who could have taken it, someone grabs Venus by the shoulder
Amber: Bring her back.

Aphrodite doesn’t even get a chance to respond as Venus resurfaces.
Venus: A-amber?
Venus tries to hug her but Apsogos, now holding order, steps in the way.
Venus: P-please I’m sorry-
Fox: Hey it’s alright!
Fox says landing from the sky.
Fox: She’s chill.
Apsogos: …fine…
He puts order back in his pocket.
Apsogos: You know this chick, Amber?
Amber: She’s my best friend. I’m not sure why Aphrodite was in control again though…
Venus: myrtle…
Fox turned to Venus confused.
Fox: The herb?
Venus: when a vessel consumes the corresponding herb of their god, the god gets forced out… myrtle being the herb linked to Aphrodite…
Fox is writing notes
Fox: mhm yeah I knew that the entire time.
Amber: Are you kidding me? You guys didn’t know this about vessels? I’m even sure Apsogos knows thi-
Apsogos is also taking notes behind Amber
Amber: …nevermind.
Apsogos: Anyways I’m here to save my son and get my weapons back.
Fox: Alright that's reasonable. At least you got your gun.
Apsogos: It only had one bullet. Thanks Amber.
Amber: No problem!
Then suddenly, Venus holds Amber's hand nervously.
Venus: A-Amber can we talk in private…
Amber: Yeah sure.
And so they walked off, leaving the two depressed fathers.
Apsogos: …I miss my wife, Maxwell.
Fox: hehe… yeah same.

Suddenly, Apsogos gets tackled by someone. But not from a enemy… from a-
Violet: MATT!!! I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU EVER AGAIN AND I’M SORRY! I LOVE YOU!!!
Apsogos: GET THIS WOMAN OFF ME! MAX, HELP!
Eren: Vi, that's not Matt… that's- wait uncle Apsogos?
Apsogos: …Oh it’s you. You have grown.
Eren: Thanks… but let's focus on the fight ahead, shall we?
The ground begins to shake as civilians run inside. Spark hides behind Violet as she turns into her demon form.
X: He's here isn’t he?
Saike: Yeah, what do you think? The ground is rumbling!
Eren shakes in fear but Ruby pats her on the back
Ruby: you’ll be fine, Eren. Just stay calm and focus on your goal.
Eren sighs as she takes out her gun. Apsogos gets out his Order, and Fox takes out a certain yellow soul. From a crack in the ground, the god of war emerges, taunting them from afar.
Ares: Ladies and Gentlemen… let the games begin.

Venus, it’s been 10 years. You still need to confess to Amber.
