Well, I'm a Monarchist, and I support the Russian Monarchy. During the Russian Civil War, Tsar Nicholas II was killed along with his entire family. The Bolsheviks removed every trace of Monarchy, started a reign of terror, and held numerous genocides. Everything that Peter the Great and Alexander II had done to improve Russia was undone, and all who supported the Russian Tsar were slaughtered except for those who escaped the country. It is my favorite empire from history, so it's reasonable to be sad about the fall of it.
