BLADENBORO, N.C. (WECT) - An 18-year-old man from Bladenboro was arrested Monday on several charges related to child pornography.
“This investigation began when the State Bureau of Investigation through National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) became aware of potential Child Pornography. Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division received a Cyber Tip from Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC),” a Bladen County Sheriff’s Office announcement states.
The BCSO says that, after investigating a phone belonging to Alan Ray Breakfield, he was arrested and charged with nine counts of felony third-degree sexual exploitation of a child. He is being held at the county jail under a $25,000 secured bond.
