BREAKING: In a stunning twist that has legal experts shaking their heads, Michael Cohen, the disgraced former attorney who was expected to be Alvin Bragg's "star witness" in the case against former President Donald Trump, may have just obliterated his own credibility—and potentially the case itself—by running off at the mouth on TikTok. Andrew McCarthy, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, expressed considerable skepticism towards Cohen's conduct, stating to Fox News Digital, "It is a major problem for prosecutors," before scathingly reducing Cohen’s credibility to zero, citing his reputation as a "convicted perjurer and fraudster."
Equally critical of Cohen’s antics, famed attorney-turned-inmate Michael Avenatti condemned Cohen's behavior and suggested the case against Trump might be "torpedoed" because of Cohen’s "narcissism and ego." Speaking from federal prison, Avenatti disparaged Cohen to Fox News Digital as being "dumber than a box of rocks" and asserted that Cohen's unapproved commentary on live testimonies was a violation of court rules, which should prompt the court to strike Cohen as a witness or declare a mistrial. Of course, that's a long shot given the blatant bias conflicted Judge Juan Merchan has shown toward President Trump during these sham proceedings.
