Exactly.
The only problem was that Californians found out immediately, even before that insane law went into effect. Small businesses were busy cutting staff, in anticipation of higher labor costs, weeks in advance.
I don't believe the dems (who NEVER think about unintended consequences) expected all this to play out so quickly. That's important because, as some of us believe, that sh!t head Gavin Newsom was planning on going to the democrat convention in August with hopes of being handed the nomination.
After the minimum-wage debacle, hard-core dems will just love that he's pushed the country one step closer to financial calamity. But he'll look just as guilty as Sleepy Joe to real people who are starting to realize food simply costs too much. Maybe they won't be very happy with Newsom being handed the nomination.
And that's before they stop and think long enough to realize he's yet another old white man!
