TW: ED, mental instability, depression

Cassandra: uuh hey.... you good?

*she walks over to her, a blank stare on her face*

"Yeah.."

(btw i added the rules for the rp i forgot earlier)

"really? It doesn't really look like it..."

*she nods, a glint of sadness in her eyes*

"...would you like to come inside..? I just baked a pie.."

*she said this with a completely straight face which was kinda odd*

*she went along but was a little disturbed*
"yeah... sure i'll take some.."

*she led her inside, sitting at the kitchen table with her. on it was a freshly baked apple pie. she was known around the community for being a good baker*

"wow... this looks good!" *she smiled hoping to change her mood*

*she cut her a slice, handing it to her on a plate*

"Thanks.."

-you notice she didn't cut herself a slice, and she looks unusually thin..-

"aren't you gonna get yourself one?"

*she shook her head sadly* "I'm not hungry..."

"no.. you've lost enough weight here." *she gave hers to you*

"Alright.. you can cut yourself another slice ok..?"

*she noticed that Cassandra was worried about her, so to make her less worried she went ahead and ate the pie anyway*

"yeah.." *she cut herself a piece and ate it* "mmmm delicious!"

"Glad you like it ^^"

*she finished her pie and washed the dish*

"Excuse me.. I'll be right back"

*she hurriedly made her way to the bathroom*

*confused* "huh..?"

*she stays in the bathroom for quite awhile. you hear faint noises coming from there. do you check it out?*

*she runs to the the bathroom and tries to open it (consents?) and it was locked*
"oh shit...."

(yea she can open the door thats fine)

*you hear faint sounds of her throwing up in the bathroom*

"hey uhh you ok in there..?"

"Yea-"
*she sounded a bit weak, like she wasn't feeling well*

"mind if I come in..?"

"Come in.."

*the door was unlocked*

*she opened the door carefully* "hey... coming in.."

*she would find Shonte curled up next to the toilet, crying softly. she had thrown up*

"oh god are you ok..?"

"no..."

"what happened..?"

"I... Something happened a few weeks ago, and I'm struggling to cope with it.. I don't have an appetite anymore, and when I eat, I can't digest it so I end up throwing it up..."

*she looked embarrassed and ashamed, tears falling out of her eyes*

"hey uh, have you seen a doctor..? maybe they can help.."

"I haven't had the energy.." *she sniffled a bit*

"well... I can take you.."

"You would do that for me..?"

"Of course I would! come on" *she offered her hand to help her up*

"Thanks..." *she took her hand, getting up shakily*

"alright.. lets go to the clinic.." *She was making sure Shonte wouldn't fall while going to her car*

*she almost fell as they made their way to the car*

"Woah!" *she was ready to catch her* "close call.." *she chuckled nervously*

*she nodded, starting to seem unusually weary*

"Yeah..." *she got in the car, her head flopping back*

*she noticed this and drove to the clinic and when they went inside Cassandra told them the situation*

*The nurses would take them to a room to be assessed by a doctor*

"*to Shonte* soo do you know what started it by chance?"

"It started when my sisters died around a month ago.."

"oh... im sorry for your loss... is there anything i could do to help?"

*she looked down, a few tears fallingout of her eyes*

"I don't know..."

"well i'll always be here for you.. no matter what."

*she hugged her, crying softly*

"Thank you..."

*she hugged her back* "anytime"

*she nodded, wiping a few tears away*

*she glanced into her eyes before looking away a few seconds later*

*she looked back at her, glancing into her eyes*

*she blushed a little | it is unsure why she did*

*she held the gaze for a bit before looking away*

*she smiled warmly, gazing at her and analyzing her face*

*she look quite nervous and worried*

"You ok dear..? You look nervous.."

"im ok.. really.."

*she nodded, hugging her*

*she leaned into it* "thank you.."

"You're welcome.."

*she stayed there for a while*

*she smiled, holding onto her as long as she needed*

*she felt better now* thanks..

*she nodded, laying back in the hospital bed, waiting for the doctor*

*she also waited sitting next to her*

*After abt half an hr, the doctor came in*

"oh hi.."

*The doctor greeted them warmly, asking what seemed to be the problem*

*she let the doctor know*

*He ran some tests and found that she's depressed and extremely malnourished*

"oh... god.... what could i do..?"

"Make sure she eats.. and make sure to monitor her depression so she doesn't hurt herself.."

"ok.." *she looks at Shonte*

*shonte looks nervous, fiddling with her hands*

i can do that doc..

*The doctor thanks them and states that they're free to go and to come back if there are any problems*

"ok thanks doc.. you ready?"

*she nods, starting to get up*

"here.. let me help.."

"Thanks..." *she grabbed onto her hand*

*she carefully led her to the car*

*she got in the car, nodding off a bit*

*she sighed* we need to get you fed when we get home..

*she looked a bit nervous*

*she drove home*

*she took a nap as she drove*

*she was still asleep*

*she woke her up* hey we're home now...

*she woke up* "mmm... okay..." *she stumbled out of the car, groggy and half-asleep*

*she helped her in the house and laid her on the couch*

"woah... that was fast..."

*she slept peacefully, her hair strewn across her face in a wispy mess*

*she snickered but fixed her hair afterward*

*she rolled over a bit, her arm hanging off the side of the couch*

"im a little tired myself..." *she laid on the other couch*

*she slept a deep sleep, barely moving*

*she eventually fell asleep and woke up hours later*

*she woke up, seeming tired still*

*she woke up obviously half asleep* "huh?"

*she looked.... weird. almost as if she wasn't actually awake. she got up and just walked out the front door*

*she woke up fully* h-hey! where you going?!

*she didn't respond, looking dazed. she walked down the driveway, and inched closer and closer to the road*

*she grabbed her* Hey!

*she stumbled into her arms, still not seeming to be awake*

"wake up! please Wake up!"

*she wasn't waking up, still trying to move toward the road*

"stop! please wake up!" *she teared up (her trauma is being triggered because James was unconscious after being caught in a blast radius of an explosion and this situation seems similar to her)*

*she still continued trying to go in the road*

"WAKE UP!"

*she would finally start to wake up, blinking in confusion*

"oh thank god....... you scared the shit outta me!"

"Umm hon...? What's going on..?"

*you notice that she'd never called u 'hon' before*

"you were walking to the road......... you dont remember..?"

"no..? i just woke up outside in your arms-"

"oh.... it seemed like you were sleepwalking or something..."

"I probably was... but I don't remember anything.."

thank god i was awake though... lets go back in yeah....?"

*she nodded sleepily*

"you were headed to the road...."

"Oh...."

"but... you're still here *she smiled a bit* and thats what matters, right..?"

*she nodded sleepily* "Thank you for saving me sweetie.."

"yeah.. anytime.."

*she leaned against her as they moved inside*

"still tired huh..? me too.."

*she nodded. you heard her stomach growl, and she'd ignore it.*

"you need to eat something at least..."

*her face looked slightly panicked* "I- i'm not hungry-''

"no i- *she sighs* ok.."

*she curled up on the couch nervously*

*she crouched down to look at her* "hey... its ok.... im not gonna force you to do something you dont wanna do..."

*she nodded, gently grabbing onto her hand*

*she gazed into her eyes with a smile tilting her head a bit*

*she gazed into her eyes as well, a loving glint in her gaze*

*she blushed a bit and looked away*

*she smiled softly, holding onto her hand gently*

*she looked back shyly and smiled back*

*she held onto her hand, her face looked tired*

"sweet dreams.."

*she fell asleep, still holding her hand*

*she let go of her hand, locked the front door and laid back on the other couch but keeping her eye on Shonte* "*sigh* what a day...."

*after awhile, she once again got up and tried to walk away*

"hey.. you awake this time...?" *as she got up*

*she was unresponsive, still asleep and drowsy*

*she followed carefully saying to herself* "don't be sleepwalking again.."

*maybe she just didn't hear you. she simply went to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water*

*sighs of relief* "hey, did you sleep good?"

"Yea..."

*her stomach rumbled once again and she still seemed to ignore it*

"do you wanna eat something at least..? i cant stand to hear your stomach growl again...."

"I'm not hungry..."

*her stomach would continue to rumble louder and louder*

"but-... please... eat something....."

*she got nervous and gave in so Cassandra would stop worrying about her* "Fine..."

"what do you want..? *she smiled slightly*"

*she shrugged* "I think there are some chicken nuggets in the freezer"

*this is odd for her as she loved to cook and make homemade meals, but was suddenly no longer willing to cook for herself*

"are you sure..?"

*she nodded nervously*

"ok.." *she started cooking*

*she nervously sat down in the dining room, just not seeming to be herself*

*in her mind* "i hope she can eat something at least..."

*she silently waited for her to come back with the food*

"hey... eat up now...." *she gave her the food*

*she nodded, reluctantly eating the food*

*she looked worried but masked it with a smile*

*she looked quite nervous as she ate, her hand slightly quivering*

*she watched*

*she finished eating after awhile, she got up and cleaned her plate*

"how was it..?" *she asked nervously*

*she smiled slightly* "It was good ^^" *she started to look a little ill*

"you dont look too good..."

"Oh... I don't..?" *she stumbled over to the couch, seeming ill*

"woah... be careful.."

*she laid down on the couch, seeming fatigued* "ugghhh..." *she groaned softly*

"uhh hold on. lemme get some water for you.." *she goes to get some*

*she rolls over, groaning softly*

"here." *she hands her water*

"thanks.." *she drinks the water*

*sighs* "i hope you feel better soon.."

"Thanks.."

*she laid her head back looking at Shonte* "so... now what?"

"...you wanna watch a movie..?"

"sure. what kind?"

"You choose ^^"

"ok.." *she puts on a movie(i dont feel like being specific)*

*she smiled softly, watching the movie with her*

*she sat near her during it* "huh.. this is actually a good movie.."

"Yeahh-!" *she happily watched the movie, laying near her*

*she looked at her smiling softly* "you feeling any better..? kinda looks like it.."

*she nodded, leaning against her slightly* "Yea I feel better.."

*she didnt seem to mind* "good. im glad you do..."

*she'd rest her head against her arm, feeling very comfortable*

*she looked at her*

*she smiled a bit, looking back at her with a gentle gaze*

*she held the gaze this time which was surprising because she'd normally get flustered or shy*

*she smiled softly, still holding the gaze happily*

*a knock ruined the moment* "huh...? i'll get it.."

"hm..?" *she was confused, trying to figure out who was at her door*

*she opened the door*
Cassandra: oh hey James! need something?
James: no just stopping by

*she slowly got up, making her way to the door* "Oh hi james-"

*Cassandra would notice that she had a completely straight face again, concealing her emotions*

James: you must be Shonte right?

(James' appearance according to ai)

*she nodded* "mhmm ^^"

Cassandra: yeah shes not feeling well so im taking care of her.
James: hm.

*she forced a smile, laying back down on the couch*

James: alright see ya. *he leaves*
Cassandra: bye! *closes the door and turns to Shonte* whats wrong..?

"Nothing.."

"i saw the mood change.... please dont lie.."

*she just looked down at her lap, fiddling with her fingers*

"It's nothing..."

"you can tell me anything.... you know that right..?"

*she nodded tearfully*

*she sat next to her* so what is it..?

"I just.. I had a brother awhile ago.. we lost him 10 years ago.. and your brother's personality just reminds me so much of him.. i guess with losing my sisters, the grief is coming back.. now im the last surviving member of my family.." *she sniffled a little, holding back tears*

"oh..... i-im sorry for your loss..."

"It's ok.." *her voice began to break a little*

*she hugged her*

*she hugged her back, burying her face into her chest as she cried softly*

*moments of silence pass*

*she held onto her tight, almost as if she was afraid she was gonna lose her*

"i wont go anywhere...."

*she nodded a bit, trying to calm herself down, but was ultimately unsuccessful in doing so*

"its ok...."

*she all of a sudden looked unusually fatigued*

"woah.... you look exhausted..."

*her head kinda flopped back and she stopped moving, her eyes coming to a closed state*

"Woah!" *she laid her down* "that was random.."

*she appeared to be unconscious*

"ok.. that was fast...."

*shes unconscious, her body completely still. she probably fainted. wdyd?*

"uuh.. what do i do..???"

*after abt 20 minutes, she started to wake up* "hm...." *her body looked extremely fatigued*

"hey.."

"What happened...?" *she immediately attempted to get up*

"you fainted... i think..."

"Oh...." *she looked a little scared*

"uugh what a day...."

*she nodded* "Yea..."

"cant wait to actually fall asleep..."

"Yea..."

"..."

*she got up, hugging her* "You ready to go to bed..?"

*slight blush* "yeah.."

*she smiled softly, holding her close*

"lets go..?"

*she nodded, laying on the couch and going to bed*

"oh uh you can lay on the bed in the guest room.. if you want."

"Oh- ok ^^ where is it-?"

"here, let me show you."

"Okay-" *she followed her*

*she led her to the guest room* "here we are, i hope you can get comfortable here." *she smiled*

"Thanks ^^" *she laid in the bed, getting comfortable*

"see you in the morning."

*in the morning, she woke up, her body seeming fatigued as she sluggishly got out of bed*

*cassandra was still asleep*

*she got too tired and went back to sleep as well*

*hours later Cassandra woke up*

"still asleep..." *she goes to the kitchen to cook breakfast*

*she wakes up after awhile, she looked fatigued as she walked out of the room*

"oh hey! good morning!"

"Good morning -.-" *she was tired and for some reason not walking straight*

"how'd you sleep?"

"good. im making breakfast right now.. you hungry?"

*she shook her head even though her stomach had begun to rumble*

"*sigh* ok.." *she got done cooking* "i'll leave some in case you change your mind"

"Thanks ^^"

"yep.. so... what are your plans for today..?"

"I don't really have any... is there anything you'd like to do today..?"

"we can just hang out.."

"Sure ^^"

"lets see whats on today...." *she turned on the tv*

*she noticed, scooting closer to her in return with a subtle smile on her face*

*she looked back at her and scooted closer, snuggling up to her and laying her head on her shoulder*

*she blushed, snuggling up to her and laying her head in her lap*

*she smiled up at her with a loving gaze. she really looked like she loved her* "Hey-"

*smiles* sooo...... what now..?

*she gazed into her eyes, moving a little closer to her face*

*curious, she moved closer as well*

*she gave her a gentle, short kiss before looking away nervously*

*she blushed intensely, looking very flustered*

*she looked down at her hands nervously, worried she didn't like her back*
