I can’t wait until I move out…

So, my brother is on the track team, and he had a track match yesterday. Today, he woke up tired and irritable. He also had psat testing today, so it only got worse. He told our mom about it and she said “You’re just doing this for attention, just suck it up.” So, of course, I tried to stand up for him, and she starts gaslighting me, saying things like “He’s lying to you, he’s only saying that because he doesn’t like me.” And so she started talking to his coach and making him look bad while also talking shit right in front of me…

Update: They got things sorted out and I practiced high jump with him. His highest is 4’2 and mine is 4’6.

Also, while attempting the 4’6, I landed on the pole and now I have a bruise on my spine. Same with my brother on the 4’2.

Even though I am open with many about it, I’m terrified of some of my closer friends finding out I’m pan. Granted, it’s only really one of them. One, I make gay jokes in front of all the time and i feel is just being edgy and is close enough friends with me to find it fine, but the other is genuinely homophobic and would probably just automatically group me into the “people who are super obnoxious about it and make it their whole personality” group. And that’s without mentioning the class asshole (I don’t call him a bully because he’s honestly more annoying than saddening). I always tell him, “when you use the exact same copy paste insult about something that happened a year ago that I don’t care about anymore, it eventually has no effect” but then he WOULD have some new material. I swear, I’m the class “nice kid” but him and two others (but mostly him) just have it out for me. The worst part is that this will all happen sooner or later. I told a nice classmate (who was supportive despite being Christian), and I guess he told his closest friends. It was fine because they were fine with it too, but I know the gossip line is just gonna keep going.

As for your homophobic friend, just try your best to hide the fact that you’re pan…

Also, you should tell your christian friend and all of their friends not to tell anyone you’re pan unless they have your permission…

I did it in a pretty quick and casual setting, so they didn’t react the most. We’re a very liberal family so I basically had it on easy mode

I was the same too. I never want to tell my parents I’m trans and lesbian, and you don’t have to if you don’t want to. If it makes you feel weird, that’s okay, this is probably a weird subject to talk about, but if you think you should do it, go for it
