Drake: Not this time.. *he proceeds to ram the guy*

*The guy screams in pain and surprise, falling to the ground* "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" *he got up quickly, lunging at Drake*

*he delivers a swift kick to his face* saving a friend!

*the guy falls back, hitting his head on the concrete*

*without hesitation he picks Athena up and puts her in his car a drives off | he would wait until she had awoken*
*to him self* "i dont care if he's part of cartel or a mafia.. he aint havin' her..."

*she would wake up awhile later, looking around to see where she was*

*she was in a house on a bed*

*she started freaking out, thinking she had actually been kidnapped*

*he went into the room* "hey.. its ok.. hes gone.. you're with me now.."

*she started to calm down, knowing she was safe*

"you feelin ok..?"

*she chuckled slightly* "Not really.."

"been there.. who was that guy anyway..? and why did he attack you.."

"I have no idea..."

"Part of the reason why I hate some people.."

(why do I always forget this. he wears a mask that covers his whole face. so no one has ever seen what he looks like)

"Yeah.." *she looked weary and distressed, her hands slightly shaky*

*he sighed* "try not to think about it.. think about other things if you can."

*she nodded, grasping his hand lightly*

*he sat next to her on the bed*

*she made space so he could lie down next to her*

"Thank you for being there for me.."

"no problem.. I won't let anyone drag a friend away.."

*she softly smiled up at him*

*he holds her close* "lets take a nap shall we..? im tired"

*she nodded, falling asleep in his arms*

*he eventually fell asleep*

*she slept peacefully in his arms*

*when she awoke he would be gone*

*she woke up, confused, wondering where he was*

*it was silent*

*she slowly got up, her body very unstable, going around the house to look for him. she struggled to walk, and she was weak.*

*he was out on the porch and noticed her* "oh you're up.." *he goes to help her*

"Hey-"

"you shouldn't be walking right now.."

"I know.. sorry-" *her legs gave out and she nearly collapsed*

*he caught her* "shit!" *then he picked her up* "good thing I caught ya.."

*she blushed as he picked her up* "Thanks-"

"let go over here.." *he puts her on the couch gently*

*as he holds her, he can hear her stomach growl a little*

"hungry? i'll make you something"

*she shook her head, seeming to be trying to ignore her hunger*

"I'm not hungry-"

"I heard your stomach.."

"It's ok don't worry about it-" *her stomach growled again and she once again ignored it. you notice that you'd never seen her eat in front of you before*

"if you insist.."

*you then wonder after all the time you and him have been friends "why does he wear the mask all the time?"*

*she studies the mask, pondering about the face behind it and wondering what it looks like*

*it seems to be made of steel and the glass is tinted to the point that no one can see his eyes | he notices that you are studying it*

"heh, no one except my family has seen my face.. I keep it hidden so that enemies don't find out who I really am"

*she nods* "I understand-"

"but... *he takes it off | he looks fairly attractive* it's time I showed you.." *he looks at you*

*she blushed seeing his face, looking into his eyes*

*He has blue eyes | he look back into her eyes for awhile before looking out the window*

*she started to move closer and closer to him, her face getting inches away from his*

*he sits there letting her do so*

*she gives him a quick kiss on the lips before turning away with embarrassment*

*he gave her a kiss back* "and we'll leave it at that i guess..*

*she smiled softly, gazing into his eyes*

*someone knocks | he puts the mask back on and answers the door*
???: come we need you back at base, Dial..
Drake: yes sir.

*she watches him go, slightly confused*

*before he goes he goes back in*
"you can come if you want.."

"Oh sure-" *she gets up, her body's still weak and unstable and she finds difficulty in walking*

*he assists her and they get into a car*

*she just kinda chills in the car as they drive*

*when they got in the base they went to a room with other people inside | they seemed to be planning something*

Man: Drake your finally here.. and who's this? she doesn't look too good..
Drake: This is my friend Athena.
Man: right.. what happened..?
Drake: she was attacked and almost abducted by someone.. Until I saw it.
Man: you didn't kill him did you..? *he asked jokingly*
Drake: no.

"Uhh hi ^^" *she looked hella confused, but super friendly*

Derrik: im Derrik that is Samuel and uhh.. him.. he calls himself "warden"... but anyway nice to meet you. but back to planning... the "corrupted" want a special artifact in this museum here so im assuming they will look casual, like a civilian.. so we'll have to be careful in this mission.

Drake: why do they want this artifact..?

Derrik: who knows.. all I know is that it is powerful.. we can't let them have this thing..

Samuel: hell they may be there already..

Drake: they aren't.

Samuel: how so?

Drake: It's about to close soon...

*she just sat there quietly, letting them talk*

Drake: the best shot they have is tomorrow so we'll need to be there before them.

Derrik: if thats even possible..

Drake: right.

Samuel: so, who's going in..?

Drake: i'll go in and get this thing before they do.. to make things seem "normal" i'll bring her along.

Warden: if things go wrong..?

Drake: i'll improvise.

Derrik: alright meeting is now over! get some rest you'll need it that also means you Drake.

*they all leave and are now back at his house*

*she legit looked so confused. she leaned against him, holding him close*

"you good..?"

"Yup ^^" *she smiled softly, looking up at him*

*he suddenly picks her up by the waist bringing her face close to his*

*she blushed, looking at him*

*she smiled, clearly enjoying being picked up. she reached up, kissing him*

*she laid back where he would be laying on top of her as they kissed*

*he would go with it then eventually pulled away*

*she smiled wide, looking up at him*

"how long have you felt this way for me..?"

"A few months..." *she blushed a little*

*he nodded a bit* "i thought I noticed a slight change in your behavior towards me.. and I was correct."

*she smiled softly* "You're an amazing guy.. it's hard to NOT fall in love with you.."

"I bet.."

*she smiled, holding him close*

*he did the same*

*she gently kissed his forehead, rubbing his back contently*

*he was careful doing so but he wrapped his arms around her waist* "how did we get here..."

*she looked very content, massaging his back a little more firmly*

*he seemed satisfied and was drifting to sleep*

*she positioned his head on top of her chest so he could be more comfortable*

*he eventually fell asleep*

*in the morning he wakes up and looks at Athena*

*she wakes up, looking up at him*
"Good morningg.."

"mornin' how'd you sleep..?"

"I slept ok what about you?"

"it was alright."

"That's good..." *she gave him a kiss*

"remember that meeting yesterday...?"

"Yes I do ^^ What about it?"

"it is a mission my team and i have to do.."

"Ohhh okay.."

"so for this one.. your coming with.. it's risky but I think it'll work.."

"Oh- okay ^^"

"and we have... about two hours till the place opens.."

*she nodded*

"What do you need me to do?"

"stay by my side"

"Okay ^^"

*he puts his mask on and puts an earpiece in his ear giving her one too* "here put this in.."

*she nodded and put it in*

"they should start to talk through them soon but in the meantime lets go.." *he started to make his way outside*

Drerrik/overwatch: I see you guys in there be careful my sight is limited.
Drake/Dial: copy.. I don't see any suspicious people yet..

*she stayed quiet, looking around*

*she follows Drake, staying close to him*

*when they got to the area it was already gone*
Drake: oh shit... the mission is compromised!

Drake: its gone! the f**king artifact is gone!
Samuel: I knew it! I knew this would happen!

"Oh crap.." *she looked concerned*

*some amongst the crowd fired a few rounds at them but Drake put you and himself behind cover as most of the crowd scrambled*

Overwatch: I'm hearing shit down there! you good?
Drake: yeah! About 10 of em' down here! we're pinned!
Samuel: Im comin' standby!
*Drake returns fire but almost got hit*
Drake: SHIT!

*she whispered to him* "Oh my god are you okay?!"

"yeah it barely missed!"

*she ducks down, trying not to get hit*

*suddenly the shooting stopped*
Drake: *he peeks out* they're gone...
Samuel: *out of breath* shit I missed it didn't I..?

*she peeks out nervously*

*you start to notice a growing blood stain on the left sleeve of her shirt. *

Drake: oh shit you were hit!

*she looked a little nervous, staring at her wound*

"Hmm.. it doesn't seem too bad- I don't think the bullet actually entered my body, it just cut me.."

*he examines it* Drake: yeah it just grazed ya.. it still needs stitched though..

*she nodded* "Yeah-"
