Let me go reddit mode and point out everything wrong with this meme.
While they were a global superpower due to being a part of the axis powers, they only joined the war as an excuse to invade China where they would massacre and r*pe thousands of innocent civilians, and at the end of the war US dropped the atom bomb on Nagasaki and Hiroshima which greatly reduced their strength, and they had to rely on the help of other nations to survive for decades. As for the "Japan now" section, all those weird body pillow anime simp people are from America. In Japan, anime and h*ntai are just regular things there. and I mean "regular" for h*ntai like how the hub is considered normal in America.

I went to Japan a couple weeks ago for 3 months and can say that even though everything is super cheap and there is a lot of sexism in the workplace and xenophobia, Japan is one of the safest countries, people are constantly working, Japan doesn’t have that many homeless people, and Japan has amazing clean food.
