Good point. However, when the government intervenes to hold the 1% accountable, all of a sudden everyone starts complaining about a worse economy.

Actually, they don't want to fix the problem, they just want to make liberals look bad.

Yes indeed. Heck, politicians rarely want to fix problems, rather make it better little by little so that they can keep their voters and still campaign on the issue.
