Well, only one of my protagonists was a trained merc before being deemed a traitor for not firing at civilians, or Innocent Worker Drones, the rest are Military trained and in service. But yeah, you don't learn the way of the rifle, expect to be absolutely obliterated by someone who has already mastered it.
