This man is named Rabbi Goren, was born in February 3rd 1917 in Zambrow German Empire at the time, now Poland. He was born Jewish. He would later have 3 children. He fought for the Haganah paramilitary in 1936 and a year later moved and settled in modern day tell aviv. He would still stay in the IDF until retiring in 1968. He would participate in 3 Arab Israeli wars, 1948 Arab Israeli wars, 1956 Arab Israeli war, and 1967 Arab Israeli war, (also known as the 6 day war) Rabbi Goren was an Orthodox Jew or a religious Zionists who had great patriotic for Israel. Goren was appointed as the head of the IDF's Military Rabbinate with the rank of major-general. He inspired many IDF soldiers to the point they even made a song about him:

After retiring from the IDF in 1968, he would later live till October 29th 1994 age 74.
Rabbi Goren also blew the Shofar in the Western wall with the rest of his comrades.
