Medieval Christianity was super messy.
In fact, if it wasn't for people like Martin Luther, mfs would STILL be killing non-Christians.
People didn't really "understand" the Bible at the time.

Only try to convert non-believers that are interested in what you're preaching.
If you try to force something on someone that doesn't want it, you're just gonna push them away further.
