Nice chapter

Zevver was sitting in his new home. Since the events that occurred between him, fay and the [redacted] team he had lost access to a lot of his old stuff, however the decent amount of money he had in his personal account and the dropship he landed down on shaderia. He was able to get a small building behind a fish market on a small planet. It wasn’t nice but it was home. Zevvers phone rung.
Zevver: this is zevver shale, hunter for hire
The caller spoke, their voice was strange and unrecognizable
Caller: hello, zevver I have an mission for you
Zevver: yeah yeah yeah, where and how much?
Caller: well I will send over the coordinates now, however the reward I will discuss later.
*the caller disconnected*
Zevver: welp I guess I should pack my things

Somewhere across the galaxy, the same call was made again

Phantasm was picked up by a small spaceship with one other person, the pilot. The ship had a small pod to deploy any personnel onboard as needed.
Phantasm: so…what the f**k do you need me to do
Pilot: well I was told you were one of the best, and boss wants me to tell you the mission plan.
Phantasm: go ahead, I’ve got nothin else to do
Pilot: are you familiar with the [ERROR: failure to remove text] xelinrium?
Phantasm: no, I’ve never heard that crap once
Pilot: well they were the old leadership of shaderia and I’m guessing there’s a good reason they were overthrown, anyways the boss wants you to take out a prototype vehicle warehouse. Guess their still active
Phantasm: and where is this?
Pilot: some planet called quonia VI. Heard it’s really foggy
Phantasm: great, just what I need, impaired vision

Far away, zevver got a call with the same mission details

Zevver landed his ship outside of some rock formations. The building wasn’t that far away
Zevver:alright, so this is what they’ve been doing without me. Kinda boring if I’m being honest
*he started on his way to the building*
Zevver:ehh? *a pod is falling from the sky above the building*
Zevver: OH SH-* the pod lands on top of the building*
Zevver: ok never mind.
He snuck in the building through a vent not knowing that phantasm was coming in from the other side
Phantasm: so, I got to get to the control room, get some data for the guy and then blow up the generators, sounds easy enough. Did the dude say I could grab anything else I find because I need some mon—F**K!*she fell through the vent into the control room*
Phantasm: well, that wor-
Zevver: HEY!
Phantasm: oh f**k

phantasm: who the f**k are you
zevver: I was gonna ask you the same thing, but it would be a waste of time
he rushed towards her as his arm bones formed a sword. phantasm pulled out her sword in a fraction of a second to block the hit. zevver jumped back and prepared to counterattack but she leaped towards him pushing the blade forward, it barely missed him. the two continued fighting
zevver: didn't know there were anymore good fighters like me
phantasm: the f**k you mean like you? totally different fighting style
zevver: I meant as in someone who has actual skill.
phantasm: well, I'm gonna f**king skill you
zevver: I'm sorry, what?
*his back hits a wall*
zevver: wait, you don't look like your with the [redacted]. so then why are you here
phantasm: uhh, to blow you guys up
zevver: well that's why I'm here too
phantasm: wait, so your not with them? *she points to two armed guards that entered the control room*
zevver: uh fight now talk later.
he whacks the first guard several times with a heavy bone chamber and then stabs with a sword while phantasm jumps on the ceiling of the circular room and behind the second gard taking him down
phantasm: so, you were saying

phantasm: so, if your here for the same reason as me. some guy called you about an assignment to get some info from this warehouse right?
zevver: yeah exactly
phantasm: soooo...you don't want to kill me
zevver: no, so you think we should work together and split the reward?
phantasm: I guess, what's your name anyways
zevver: zevver, zevver shale. and yours?
phantasm: I go by phantasm
zevver: what kinda f**king name is that?
phantasm: just download the files and shutdown the reactor!
zevver: right, on it. also you should probably grab that guards weapon
phantasm: why?
zevver: I worked with these guys for a while, there's usually more where they came from. now lets go downloads done
*she picks up a weird round gun from one of the guards*
phantasm: what is this thing?
zevver: rapid-08 energized liquid machine gun, its basically a deadly squirt gun
phantasm: ah
they open the door and a group of guards turns to face them.
zevver: oh shi-
